When we are alone, do we always act as if He is present with us? Do we trust Him with everything or only certain things?

Mark 10:27
He (Jesus) answered: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with your mind” and “love your neighbor as yourself.”

It’s your life. The Bible says in second Corinthians Chapter thirteen and Verse five: “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?”

Is He Lord over everything in your life today? Do you love Him with all of your heart? Only you can examine yourself to see if you are in the faith.

Collisions 4:12

Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.

I have a really close friend who prays for me a lot. Have you ever set aside an hour to pray? The most amazing things happen when we purpose to spend quality time with God through prayer. Something that I have noticed is that I begin to pray for many people, whenever I do this. I reach a point during this special time where faces of friends begin to appear as I am praying for them. This usually happens after I’ve confessed my sins and then prayed for all of my needs. The bible is very clear about this subject, we are supposed to pray for one another.

Consider spending some extra time in prayer today lifting up your friend’s needs to the Lord.

Revelations 2:4-5
But I have this [one charge to make] against you: that you have left (abandoned) the love that you had at first [you have deserted Me, your first love]. Remember then from what heights you have fallen.

There are many things to consider in this verse, but what caught my attention is the phrase, “remember then from what heights you have fallen.” When we commit our lives to the Lord and fall in love with him, in his eyes we are in a high place. We do not have to strive to get there, we only have to love him. How do we love him? This verse indicates that we love him less when he is less a part of our lives than he once was. Is the Lord more or less apart of your life today?
When we fell in love with God he was included in everything. If you’ve fallen away, like many of us do, then make a decision today to put God first again. Ask for his forgiveness and he will meet with you in a special way. Try reading your bible more, going for walks with just you and the Lord and spend time talking to him. Let Jesus be a part of everything that you do, don’t leave him out of anything.
