Psalm 145:18-20
The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.

Trust God with your life today… all of it. Take a moment to just acknowledge his faithfulness and recall the times when He has revealed himself in real ways. He will never let you go.

He is faithful; trust Him today with every area of your life and the peace of God will guard your heart and mind. Give Him your worries because he cares for you.

Growing strong in the things of God is going to take a commitment to living in His ways. When you learned how to ride a bicycle it took a lot of practice to get good at keeping your balance. The same principles apply to increasing in spiritual strength.

Luke 6:47-49
” I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”

If we regularly practice the things that the Lord has taught us and continues to teach us, eventually we will get stronger in the ways of God. Our ability to stand strong in faith will increase as we continue to live a lifestyle of believing that God can do the impossible.

I recently heard a great message where the speaker said that it takes twenty-one days to break a habit. There are things that we must do in order to get stronger in God. We must read our Bible, pray and spend a lot of quality time with Him. If you haven’t been growing stronger in God, consider making a commitment today to do things differently for the next twenty-one days of your life.
