Since I have experienced God in so many supernatural ways, I am convinced that his love is priceless. Many times my faith has been tested and the Lord always provides. The value of those amazing God encounters is worth more to me than any amount of money. To have peace within because I know that the Lord is my provider far outweighs the comfort that comes through having excessive amounts of money.
There is nothing wrong with having an abundant supply of money. There is something wrong when God is not loved with all of our heart, soul and mind though. Money is not evil. However, the love of money is evil. Is God really the Lord of your life?
Psalms 36:7 How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
With God all things are possible, not so with money or human interventions. When we are up against something that money cannot fix that’s when the value of a miracle working God is priceless. When all hope is gone from what earthly things can provide, there’s is still hope to be found through trusting God.
Would you rather have an angel of the Lord appear in your room or a million dollars? Would you rather receive divine healing from a terminal illness or be handed a million dollars?
A line from one of my all time favorite songs says: “for a day in your presences is far better to me than gold or living my whole life somewhere else.”
In the light and glory of God’s love the value of earthly things grow strangely dim.
