To receive instructions from our employees, teachers, spouse or parents we must spend time with them. The same applies to our relationships with God. The Holy Spirit will lead us all into truth. The Bible says that Jesus will reveal things to come. I believe in order to be lead by the Spirit we must spend quality time in his presence.
Acts 28:25
“The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your forefathers when he said through Isaiah the prophet:”
John 16:13
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; He will speak only what he hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.
Consider spending some additional time in prayer today. Invite the Holy Spirit’s presence, then hunger and thirst to be lead by the Spirit of Truth. Jesus said that he reveals things to come and that he speaks to us. Now, we must quiet ourselves enough to hear him.
