If you’re not living in love, then you’re not living in God. Of all the things that we hold as priorities in our lives, this one should be at the forefront of everything that we do. If we do not have it, then we are just clanging symbols.
1 John 4: 16
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
My pastor sums things up this way: “Love God, love people.”
Take a moment right now to think of the people who are in your life. How can you express love to them today? Consider making a phone call just to let them know you are thinking of them. What about purchasing a gift card for someone you know who is in need. An appreciation card or letter sent in the mail or by way of email is a great way to express love. Stop by a friend or relative’s house just to spend quality time with them.
Living in God requires that we live a lifestyle of love. Make a decision to spread God’s love through your life today to as many people as you can.
