We tend to want things right away in this day and age that we live in. Is it any wonder that our attitude is this way in America? With convenient stores on every corner, fast food restaurants at our fingertips and microwaves in our kitchens, we are able to instantly gratify our desires.
Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.
“God, why aren’t you answering my prayer?”
Consider what our verse says today: “No good thing does He withhold.” Maybe what I think would be a good thing, God knows it would be a destructive thing to have in my life. This is just one of many possibilities as to why God isn’t answering a prayer request.
